Barbara was wonderful to work with. She has a calming and reassuring presence that was appreciated as I cared for my twins. All consumed with care of the babies, Barbara helped me focus on what I needed too. I could leave my babies in her care with confidence and ease whether it was just for a nap or to go to appointment for myself. She offered the respite and encouragement that we needed. I would highly recommend her.

Erin came into my home after I had given birth to my second daughter. I will forever be grateful for the help and care she provided. Erin helped care for my first daughter who was a toddler at the time, she helped me with things around the house, she checked in on how I was feeling. She was everything and more that I could have ever imagined a Postpartum Doula to be. Her gentle, kind, caring, and attentive presence is a true gift and I am so happy she is sharing it with so many others.

We are so grateful for Helping Hands Doulas! Barb cared for our son, Mason, during his newborn days. It was so easy to welcome her into our home because of how caring, warm, and experienced she is. We were so confident in her ability to give Mason all that he needed. Erin and Barb were a tremendous help during my postpartum phase. Getting a solid night of sleep was like the best drug ever. I knew while I snoozed, my boy was in safe, loving arms and they even helped me catch up on chores. I appreciated all their help and wisdom. Do yourself a favor and work with them during your tough fourth trimester (and beyond).

During my pregnancy I knew I was going to need some help to make sure my husband and I got some rest, as we already had a toddler. Barb and Erin are the sweetest people, I felt like I would be able to sleep well with them tending to the new baby overnight. They checked in on my recovery as well as breastfeeding. They also left a quiche for the week and folded laundry. We are so grateful for them and the service they provide. We 10/10 recommend them.

Barb helped us so much when our second child was born. It was right after my husband returned to work and her calm, knowledgeable and caring presence (and extra pair of hands around the house!) made our transition to a family of four much easier on us all. Not only did she perform light chores such as folding laundry and fixing lunch, she also helped me sort through some breastfeeding issues and soothed the baby while I napped or showered. Erin and Barb were invaluable to us in the first few weeks of having the twins home from the NICU. Before they came home, Helping Hands came over to help us organize our various "stations" throughout the house, and we developed a plan for doula care for the first few weeks which involved one day and one night shift per week. We felt at ease leaving the little ones with Erin and Barb. It was clear that their experiences as mothers as well as experience with twin families as part of the doula training made them confident in their ability to care for twins. While we took a nap during the day or slept at night, they would care for the babies and do light housekeeping like laundry and dishes. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other families looking for a life preserver in the early weeks!
