Testimonials

Barb and Erin are absolute experts at what they do. It was my first time having a baby and I wanted doulas who could provide knowledge, comfort, and care for both our new baby and myself -- and Barb and Erin absolutely delivered. I cannot recommend them enough: not only did they provide loving care for our baby and myself, but they were also extremely easy to work with. Barb and Erin were always on time, their communication was spot on, and they helped with light housework around the house in addition to baby (and momma!) care. I miss them already!

"Erin and Barb are lifesavers! They helped us with our newborn twins, literally day and night. They freed us up so that we could get things done around the house. And even stayed overnight now-and again so that we could get a much needed full night's sleep. Erin and Barb are like family. They stepped right in to help and were super easygoing about it all. We are truly grateful and highly recommend them."

We cannot recommend Erin enough! She was an absolute lifesaver during the postpartum period. As first-time parents, my wife and I were incredibly sleep-deprived, but Erin was there to provide us with practical advice and a listening ear whenever we needed it. She took care of everything from feeding and diaper changes to laundry and dishes. Her expertise in newborn care was invaluable, and she was careful to provide guidance but never overstep, which ensured that we felt confident and empowered in our new roles as parents. She was always responsive and available to answer our questions, and her calming presence was a huge comfort during those early days.

Baby's Clutch

“The most difficult part of birth is the first year afterwards. It is the year of travail – when the soul of a woman must birth the mother inside her. The emotional labour pains of becoming a mother are far greater than the physical pangs of birth; these are the growing surges of your heart as it pushes out selfishness and fear and makes room for sacrifice and love. It is a private and silent birth of the soul, but it is no less holy than the event of childbirth, perhaps it is even more sacred.” – Joy Kusek
